Once inside please check in with your artist, change into a smock, hang your jacket up in our back closet and stop in the restroom if needed. There are purse hooks hanging at each station where you may sit your purse or bag. Please be mindful that the beautiful artwork that you see on the walls in this space was thoughtfully crafted for your enjoyment to look at, but please do not touch it, lean on it (especially with color in your hair), or put your feet on the walls (yes its already happened thats why it must be said). Treat these walls like you are at a contemporary art museum so they can be enjoyed by all.
Children are welcome in the salon by appointment only. Our artist reserve the right to service children at their discretion, as we are an adult salon. Although a majority of children are incredibly well-behaved, our mission is to provide a safe and relaxing experience for our guests and artists.
Please do not bring anyone to your reservation. Due to the size of our salon, and our desire to create the best environment possible we cannot have guests of guests on the floor or in the waiting area. If you have one guest with you they may sit in the waiting area if it's not busy, but if you have multiple people with you they will not be allowed inside the salon to wait the entire length of your service. The only additional guests allowed on the salon floor are parents accompanying a minor or a guest with special needs who has an appointment.
Dogs are not welcome in the salon unless there is permission from the management team or if the dog is a service dog. ESA is not included in this category. Salon Society loves dogs, but cannot allow all clients to bring a dog since we already have a dog in the salon. Please ask permission the day before your appointment. DO NOT bring a dog here without notifying your stylist or management. Dogs in the salon must be leashed at all times and with the dog owner.
Hair services, payments, questions, concerns and adjustments are between you and your stylist directly. Salon Society is a booth rental salon and all stylists are independent contractors running their own independent businesses in our facility. They simply rent a chair at Salon Society and operate their own independent entities. If you have questions about your hair please contact your stylist directly.
Product return/exchange policy: If you are not satisfied with products purchased directly through Salon Society we are happy to swap them out for a product of equal or lesser value as long as they have only been used 1 time and are 99% full. We cannot issue refunds on open products. If the swap out is a higher priced item, the guest is responsible to make up the difference. We cannot swap out products less than 90% full and do not issue refunds on products that have been opened/used. If your product is unopened we are happy to issue a return or swap out within 30 days of purchase with receipt.
Mask Policy: At this time masking is optional at Salon Society and we respect everyone's decision to mask or not mask. Any discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
Vaccine Policy: Salon Society will not disclose anyone's private health information. Any discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
If you have had a cough or fever or are not feeling well, stay home. This includes if you are living with or caring for anyone who is contagious with Covid-19, Flu, Strep Throat or anything that may infect our clients or artist. Be a conscious and considerate human and do not purposely subject others to illness. If you come to your appointment sick you will be immediately asked to go home and reschedule at a later time when you are well.
Our artist want you to be 100% satisfied with your overall experience. We know that your hair is important to you and we want you to be happy from the moment you step through the door until the moment you check out! If you are unsatisfied with your experience, we will make any necessary adjustments so you can leave our salon feeling amazing! After all, we are trying to build a long lasting relationship with you and be your trusted stylist for life! Please review our updated policies. Salon Society is a booth rental hair salon which means your artist is simply running a business within our business; and they are your first point of contact for any questions, concerns, or discrepancies.
- We do not issue refunds. If you are unsatisfied with your hair your artist will be happy to make adjustments for you.
- Adjustments can be performed within 10 days of your initial service date by your original service provider.
- Adjustments will be full price if you, or another professional make any adjustments to the cut/color.
- Chemical services are only guaranteed if you invest in the recommended shampoo and conditioner from our salon directly.
- A redo service has a color fee of $20 per bowl of color needed to make the adjustments, and includes a blow-dry service.
- Your stylist will tell you directly if your goal cannot be achieved in one sitting.
- If your goal cannot be achieved in one sitting, or if you have previous chemicals or color present in the hair that are causing conflict in your hair goals, you will be asked to complete our multi-step color agreement.
Let's face it life happens. However due to high demand and respect for our service providers time and businesses, rules must be set in place to avoid confusion and chaos.
All services must be confirmed through our vagaro online booking system 48 hours prior to service in order to keep your reservation. You will receive multiple text and email reminders leading up to your appointment to confirm or cancel/reschedule service. If you opt out of receiving reminders via email or text you will risk missing an appointment confirmation which may lead to a negative impact on your appointment scheduling.
Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours before scheduled service. Within 24 hours of service, cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled service cost.
No Shows will be required to pay 100% of scheduled service cost, and may be limited to booking on a walk in basis only. Repeat no shows, cancellations, or those that choose not to comply with these policies may result in a rejection of service by our artist at Salon Society.
A non-refundable reservation fee of 50% is required on all services booked for 5+ hours or equaling $500+ in service value.
